Teach Us To Pray

Is prayer easy for you?

If you’re like me, prayer never came easy. In the beginning, I was riddled with guilt and shame so my prayer life became an exhausting wrestling match trying to convince God, even trying to bribe Him, why he should spend time with me. Then one day, God came and I was so shaken by the truth that my bargaining and leveraging were futile. He wanted to spend time with me. Until this moment, I didn’t realize what prayer was for and that God had a completely different idea and plan. He wanted my heart, not my promises. He wanted my life, not just my youth. He wanted my voluntary wholehearted affection, not my wishy-washy sappy soaked sentiment. Since that day, when I started calling God ‘Dad’ I have never looked back.

Take this course if you dare. You will learn the skills of prayer, the heart of prayer, the mind of prayer and so much more.

You are called to a vibrant, life giving, prayer life that transforms your soul and connects you to the God who made the Sun, Moon and stars. Can you imagine? You have been called by the God who made the universe into a loving relationship full of wonder and fascination.

Is Prayer Your Oxygen?

Prayer should be life-giving and transforming, right?!

Jesus’ disciples were so impressed with his prayer life that the only thing they asked of their Rabbi was that he teach them to pray. What is your prayer life like? What did the disciples see that made them hungry for his prayer life? On the mountain they saw Jesus transformed, blazing white like lightning; they saw Moses and Elijah, two dead prophets visit with Him and they heard a voice shake the very ground under their feet. Their hunger was for a prayer life like “that.”

Prayer is your air and it’s time to take a deep breath!
