A Life of Miracles

Life to the Fullest

The Christian life should be the most exciting life of all!

Are you experiencing life to the fullest?  God intends that we experience a life of miracles, big and small.  However, to do so, we need to unpack the toolbelt of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  God has sent us into the world to preach the gospel of His Kingdom, and He will powerfully anoint us and equip us to for that task!  And we can have fun doing it!

Are you ready to learn about God’s plan for miracles in your life?

Is this life for you?

Living a life of miracles is not only exciting, but it draws unbelievers to faith.  It’s not unachievable, because it is happening in many places around the globe, such as China.  It’s not asking too much but should be the normal Christian life.

What is a practical cessationist?

Answer

Cessationists believe miracles ceased when the church adopted the New Testament canon, and the early apostles died. Pentecostals and Charismatics don’t agree, but if our lifestyle is devoid of this, should we question if we are indeed ‘practical Cessationists'?

An absence of miracles has not been my default because I have seen miracles that are progressive, in the sense that miracles have happened with healing the sick in my experience. Other miracles have been finding lost articles. As believers continued to pray, one breakthrough to the next occurs. For example, when people ask for quick recoveries, I believe they are asking for more faith, grace, dunomis power, and manifestation. As someone wrote, even with faith as a mustard seed. In Christ, all things are possible, including extraordinary miracles. God is helping me grow into a tree of Lebanon, full of faith and miracles following.

@VGaffney thanks for this testimony. I love how strong your faith in God is and your desire to grow into a tree of Lebanon is awesome. What a great scriptural image.

The absence of miracles has become a default in my life. I truly did not realize how important the Acts Church was until it came to my own infirmities. Not only that, I truly want to see my family saved. When I first became a Christian I was delivered from a bad spirit. Despite having that miracle happen, I was not living a life that had those kind of miracles. I was all talk. I was also very religious. I truly wish I would have taken my walk more seriously because I ended up actually turning away. If I truly want to experience miracles in my life I need to have faith, even if its the size of a mustard seed. I need to be open to fasting and praying without ceasing. I need to stay obedient and keep walking Jesus.

    1. Peter suggested that even if we believe miracles have not ceased in our day, if our lifestyle is devoid of miracles, perhaps we should question if we are indeed “practical Cessationists.” Do you agree? Or are there biblical reasons why believing Christians might not experience miracles?
I believe in fact we as people are practical cessationists because we pray for things but don’t expect God to respond, or if He does it won’t look like He did. We go to church, we go to work, we meet with friends but forget Jesus goes with us into those places and wants to move in your friends and family’s lives. Do we honestly expect God to move or we just going through the motions.
