We know each other through our stories
God doesn’t reveal himself to us through a list of facts, but through the biblical story from creation to new creation. The New Testament is a part of this story, but it’s not the whole story. If we want to understand the New Testament, we need a sense of the big story of the Bible as told to us in the Old and New Testaments together.
What is the big story of Scripture?
God’s good kingship exercised through Israel His covenant people to renew creation.
The Bible is a story that invites us to enter its world. It’s the true story of everything — the story that we live in! We are living in the fifth act as we eagerly await Jesus’s return!
