The Book of Proverbs
Stay Alive and Flourish
The book of Proverbs is an ancient and deep well of knowledge and experience, which means you will need a bucket. Although the treasures contained in this book were collected millennia ago, understanding their original intent and audience will help you to wash away the grime so that you can see their beauty, value, and applicability in the present. As Bruce Walke writes, “the book of Proverbs remains the model of curriculum for humanity to learn how to live under God and before humankind.”
