Bible Camps and ACOP Culture

Camps have played an important role in my life as there have been significant times of inner healing and even ministry opportunities in being a counselor myself. Those times at camp brought me to a deeper relationship with God, with deeper levels of intimacy. As a counselor I saw the same things happen with the kids in my cabin as they opened up in ways they had never done before.

Camps are so important. As a young child I actually gave my heart to the Lord at a children’s camp – Faith Bible Camp near Winnipeg. So many years ago, yet it changed my life completely. Then as a teen – and later as a young person, I attended both Trossachs and Kedleston Camps. I witnessed God moving in the services with His mighty power. I know it impacted the call of God on my life. Sound bible teaching in both the morning and evening sessions were unforgettable, as well as rich fellowship throughout the week.

Family camp such significant impact of the Pentecostal movements because that’s the place where you get away from their routine activities and the pressure of the everyday life.the atmosphere is different.
The Bible Camp played an important part in my spiritual journey. I accepted Jesus in my life,and that’s the start of y journey in my life.
