Please read Luke 18:9-14 according to the Discover, Share, Obey approach. Complete the process by reflecting on who you can share insights with and deciding how you can practically act on what you read. Pay special attention to the interplay between grace and wrath in this passage. How does it shed further light on the insights of Packer?

This is a beautiful passage I love the ending where Jesus says ” for all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” such simple but power verse that can be applied to every area in life. God loves when we humble ourselves, if we don’t, God will.

The passage on, The Pharisee and the tax collector, as recorded in, Luke 18: 9, especially stood out to me, because Jesus told this parrable to some, who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt.

But, interestingly, Jesus says, one went to his house justified, for those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

This is good news as it basically applies to all facets in life.
