Answer the following questions in a paragraph:

Do you have a tendency to dismiss or internalize people’s negative reactions to you?
If you tend to dismiss, do you think it is out of self-protection (closed off to growth and challenge), or more from self-confidence (grounded in who you are in Christ)?
If you tend to internalize, do you think it is out of self-condemnation (finding one more reason to be critical about yourself), or more from self-reflection (being open to God challenging you through other people)?

So upon much reflection I know that I tend to internalize peoples negative responses to me. Over the years I have come to realize that I have been a people pleaser and sometimes speak before I think about whats about to come out of my mouth. When this happens people usually become upset with me and I would then become self critical. This is also an area that I have been working on because I dont deal well with rejection the general response from others negative reactions to me. for the most part I take things to God and Others for advise before I open my mouth and insert my foot. Asking for advise and direction tend to work much better for me.
