I recognized the difference between power and authority.

Power is the anointing/gifts of the Holy Spirit. God’s promise in the Bible and authority is God give you permission to do it.

Why we need both because how can u use the authority without the power of God on you.

If you are weak Christian without the power of God it’s har to use the authority because Satan is always roaming around to defeat us.

I do recognize the difference, yes. Authority is the permission to do something, power is the ability to do it. We need both of these things when operating in spiritual giftings because a) we do not have the power ourselves to perform miracles, heal, etc – we are mortal beings without our own inherent power, and b) we are not to use our gifts to serve ourselves – we are to use these gifts for His glory, not for selfish reasons, or out of spite or frustration, etc. It is a big responsibility to operate through spiritual gifts, and we need to be respectful and obedient while we do so. It makes me think of Moses striking the rock rather than calling forth the water.
