3.1 – Devotional Journaling
In paragraph format, respond to one of the following prompts:
- What boundaries will you set in place or have you set in place to guide your journaling time?
- Can you give yourself permission to ‘go with the flow of the Holy Spirit and test and approve’ the content later? Why or why not?
- What impact does testing the content after the flow of impressions ends have on your prayer reading and devotional journaling?

I always have loved to journal – for me looking back on my journals and how God has been faithful, encouraged, guided and showed me things that a good father would – truth in love. Yes it definitely is something I have aligned with the word of God and if it does not or does not edify and build up then it gets taken out – or just crossed out . One of the things I also am blessed with is a church family who has many elders/ people who have the word engrained on their heart and I can ask for ‘more’ if I God has only given me one word.. I love those adventures as I learn and grow in his word.
