Lesson 2 – Who Is the Holy Spirit?

Through my walk with my Christian faith, I’ve learned to lean on God, asking the Holy Spirit to teach and guide me.

I came from Philippines without knowing no one but I trust God in my life. If it is Gods will he will make a way. He is my teacher, strength and guides me in my walk in faith.

I wouldn’t say that I’ve fully learned, but I would say that I am getting better at deliberately listening for the Holy Spirit. I think the fact that I don’t have an inner monologue is a benefit when it comes to actually discerning what comes from the Spirit vs what is just a thought. I don’t have as much “noise” to sift through, so when I am struck by the Spirit, Its presence is very clear to me. That being said, I’m not always the best at discerning what the voice is actually saying, just that It is saying something. Normally I am able to piece together the message in the subsequent hours or days after my encounters, through prayer and reading Scripture mainly.

I do feel like I have a ways to go in terms of my experience with the Holy Spirit. I think some patience would do me some good, as well as more of an open mind and heart.
