Write out a small order of service describing how you would run communion (250-500 words). Include things like:

      • What scriptures will you talk about and what will you say?
      • Is there a specific connection between the table and the message preached that you should draw out?

    • What scriptures will you talk about and what will you say? Scriptures: Matthew 26:17-24; Luke 22:7-22; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 and what will you say," "For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."

In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes." and then pray for the bread and the blood.

    • Is there a specific connection between the table and the message preached that you should draw out? That Jesus died at the cross to give us life. Remembering the cross and forgiveness or our sin.

Scriptures to talk about during communion service are; 1. Matthew 26;26-29.

    2. Mark 14;22-25.

    3. Luke 22;15-20.——You will say, This is my blood which is given for you; this do in remembrance of me.

Repeat the saying when giving the body.

Yes there is a specific connection between the table and the message preached.
