Respond in paragraph format to the following prompt(s):

    • What is the role of the ACOP and the regional director in a self-governing church?
    • Are you familiar with partnership agreements in other contexts besides ACOP? Do some comparison/contrast work using what you are already familiar with and consulting the ACOP Partnership Agreement document.

The role of ACOP and the regional director in a self-governing church is to come alongside in mutual relational authority to encourage and support towards shared vision of extending grace and igniting hope. ACOP and regional directors become involved in a self-governing church upon the invitation of lead pastor or board of directors.

Their role is to come alongside and help when asked.. based on relationship rather than title, nothing is forced.
