- As Pastors, we are called to live out the offices as fully and as integrated as we can. To do so is to seek to become more Christlike. Richard Mauw puts it this way:
- The ability to discern the concerns, desires, fears and hopes: … this is priestly. The capacity to shape and articulate a vision and goals for a people: this is prophetic. The ability to effectively facilitate movement from one to the other: this is the ruling (kingly) function.

I completely agree, as Pastors we are called to fully balance the 3 offices as much as we can. So help us LORD., amen. Furthermore, we must do these inorder to seek to become Christ like.
Richard Mauw correctly states this in his teaching.
