I think that the core value that is most helpful to me in an online learning model is Adaptability. The reality is that every person is different and every person learns differently so being able to shift and adapt to each person is important. I also appreciate that the course learning is customizable to each student.

You and Jaylen are in agreement on this one 🙂 yes, a very important value and one that will be important in any work overseas too.

I think each of thevalues play into eachother and sort of meld together in many ways, but, adaptability stands out the most to me.
When you are properly adaptable you are able to more effectively curate your teaching points to each individual. Everyone is different, and everyone will learn from different things, and different people will learn from the same things in different ways. Often times rules and structure can become too rudimentary and therefore miss out on many peoples potential learnings. So with that being said, I’m happy to hear that adaptability is a core value here, because it is very crucial and often overlooked in my opinion.

Adaptable and flexible are two great values, I agree! We nee them in general but especially in cross-cultural work.

Digestibility and Community would be the most helpful for me with learning online. With my busy schedule and my need to learn in a classroom, being able to chip away at lessons at my own pace is great but at the same time struggle to work well without the push and assistance from in-person classmates.

Digestibility is probably the most helpful online learning value for myself. I have a lot of things that pull my time, attention, and energy, so being able to just make small progress here and there is appreciated! I don’t think there was a value that was missed.
