As this course concludes, I am struck by how important the presence and outpouring of the Spirit has been to the ethos, vision, and aspirations of ACOP. The older I get, the more convinced I am that the North American church needs an affective faith in Jesus that is driven by the power and presence of the Spirit. Theology alone is not enough. Passion alone is not enough. Faithful service is not enough. In order to see the Kingdom of God grow, both in our world and in our personal life, we need the renewal of the Spirit to transform us into the image of Jesus. I see this conviction expressed in ACOP’s vision and culture, and thus I look forward to stepping more intentionally into walking alongside this fellowship!

As someone who has grown up in ACOP circles, I really appreciated getting to have more of an understanding of where different beliefs and emphases come from and why certain things are the way they are. I have loved getting to hear from different leaders and see the heart behind why we do what we do, and feel more connected to this fellowship and the direction it is going.

I think the only thing on my mind at the moment in regards to learning more about ACOP is what the process might be for having a team of prophetic ministers come to our local church for an evening or weekend of prophetic ministry. I come from a home church context where we would have “prophetic presbytery” once every 2-3 years, and it was always an exceptionally exciting and encouraging time. I think the local church I now serve in could benefit from it, but I’m not sure who in ACOP would be inclined to that sort of thing, or what the process might be.
I think what continues to resonate with me from this course is healthy churches. I think health is a big struggle for many churches, no matter the size, and keeping the focus on that is extremely important!

To me one thing that stood out to as most important from the content in this course is the emphasis on community, multiplication, and grace. ACOP’s focus on building strong relationships, empowering leaders, and extending grace to others resonates deeply. The organization’s commitment to missions, discipleship, and serving the broader community is inspiring and challenging.
I’d like to learn more about how ACOP’s principles and values are applied in practical ministry settings, such as local churches or community outreach programs. Understanding the real-world impact of ACOP’s vision and culture would provide valuable insights into its effectiveness and potential for replication, I therefore hope that the above lined will be graciously considered, as I progressive take a bold step to know and understand more about ACOP, Obviously this is my ultimate desire.
Overall, the course has highlighted the importance of a clear vision, strong leadership, and a commitment to community and multiplication in advancing God’s kingdom. These themes have been both motivating and thought-provoking, encouraging me to reflect on my own role in God’s work and how I can contribute to building healthy, multiplying communities of faith.
