6.1 Spiritual Friendship
Posted by ECO on August 9, 2021 at 3:21 pmDo the people you spend your time with urge you on in the race of faith? Do you feel comfortable and intimate enough with them that they could be considered "soul friends"? If not, what is standing in the way of that?

For some, I feel comfortable and intimate enough with them that we could share the same vision. We understand one another what mission is all about and the love of Christ.
I need to pray for other members of the body of Christ, asking God to help me understand them and to see what God wants me to see on them. Accepting one another like the prodigal son's story.
-needing to pray for unit ,oneness of the spirit and one vision for Christ. -
I am grateful to God for being in a church that isn’t bound by geography, but soul friends who happens to be spiritual strengtheners of each other.
They are also spiritual directors and mentors who daily leads me to deepen my faith and love for God.

I think there are a lot of biblical ideas here, I wish there was more emphasis on that in this lesson.

I am grateful and blessed working in Gateway Church wherein the people I am working with are also the people who encourage me to continue what I started for God. Being in a foreign country is a tough one. Difficult circumstances maybe can drift you away from your faith, but thankful to God for giving me, spiritual friends or soul friends through them who lead me to deepen my faith and love for God.

@RLumasag Isn’t it fabulous to be involved in a Christian community in a concentrated way? Jesus never told his disciples that the world would know Christians for their profound understanding of truth, but by how they loved one another (John 13:35).

Absolutely! You can feel God’s love through the people around you work with.
