Having been immersed in the great need for local and global missions over the past 5 years, I find the task ahead rather daunting. There are so many people groups who need missionaries to bring them the Gospel. There are so many communities in Canada that are broken and in need of God’s Kingdom to break through. There are so many churches in need of revitalization. However, even though the road ahead is difficult, our God is so much greater. As I think about my role in God’s Kingdom, and by extension ACOP, I see myself partnering with disciple-making initiatives across Canada. I want to see God turn Canada into a missionary sending center to the nations. I want to be a part of planting thriving churches, equipping the next generation of leaders, and making disciples who will go on to make more disciples. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Lord, send my into Your harvest field in Canada!

I am excited and want to be a part of all of it! Revitalizing Churches and being a part of Church planting is definitely something that has been on my heart and something that I want to be involved in. Right now, as a younger leader, I find it a bit overwhelming as there is so much to be done and so much I want to be a part of. But I am excited to be on this journey with body of believers and trust God to lead and direct my course.

    Fitting into ACOP’s Vision
I see myself contributing to ACOP’s goal by:

    1. Developing and deploying leaders: Sharing my skills and experience to equip others for ministry.
    2. Church multiplication: Supporting local church initiatives and outreach efforts.
    3. Raising up a new generation of leaders: Mentoring or discipling younger leaders.

    Personal God-Sized Faith Goal
    My personal goal is to:

    1. Plant a church or start a ministry: Reaching underserved communities.
    2. Develop a leadership training program: Equipping others for ministry.
    3. Engage in community outreach: Serving the vulnerable and sharing hope.

By aligning with ACOP’s strategic initiatives and envisioned future, I aim to play a role in advancing God’s kingdom and transforming communities.

First, I see myself fitting in by being one of the “new generation” of leaders in the ACOP. But it doesn’t stop there; I want help be part of bringing my local church body into new levels of health, growth, and vision. I want to be part of creating a flourishing environment where it is only natural that people’s hearts would be set on fire for Jesus and they would want to plant churches and be sent to other parts of the world.

I see this tying in to many of the points of the envision future, but in particular being Holy Spirit empowered, as we can do nothing outside of Him, and maintaining a focus on disciple making, where one disciple creates someone who can create more disciples.
