Really, confession is one of the amazing areas of our faith in Jesus Christ. God assures us, in one of His numerous promises in the Bible about confession that, “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”.
This assurance makes confessions easier, knowing that when we come to Jesus Christ, we find that He purifies and forgives us from sin.

Confession is such a beautiful thing that God has blessed us with. We are able to confess our sins to Him and to other Christians which when we ask for forgiveness it relieves a burden of guilt that was placed upon us. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us of all our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It is so relieving to confess our faults because we are acknowledging we are sinners, we are nothing without Jesus. I didn’t realize how important confession is with other people as well, I have put it into practice a few times, However I often just confess to God. It’s not something that comes easily for myself, I can imagine it would be hard for everyone.

@kaela Confession is one of the beautiful parts of our faith in Jesus. What makes it beautiful is the promise that comes with confession,” If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” This should make confession easier, knowing that when we come to Christ we find that he purifies us from sin and its weight.
