    Read and respond to the following reflection questions:

    • Philippians 1:6 is a verse we love to take out of context. Take a look at this verse. Have you ever noticed that it is not even a full sentence? Read this verse in context. How does your perception of this verse change when you consider the context of Philippians?  
    • How are you challenged by Paul's joy while in the midst of suffering?

How does your perception of this verse change when you consider the context of Philippians? ( This will go on, but not indefinitely. Jesus will return and in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, we shall be changed)
    • How are you challenged by Paul's joy while in the midst of suffering? (Gospel is advancing)
