Yes, my healing belief structure is Biblical. I believe God can use me to heal the sick. I have prayed for healing of others, and agree with Peter that once a prayer for healing has begun, the healing is in progress. I believe Jesus is the Great Physician and when we ask him to heal, he listens to our prayer and answers. I believe in laying on of hands, anointing with oil, and having a prayer of faith as some of the means to heal the sick. Some members of my church have been the recipient of my prayers for healing them. Yes, Jesus is with me and is the Healer of the sick. Some have been healed physically and others emotionally. I usually join with others to pray for a sick person. I would like to see my friend's knee healed so she does not have to go through surgery. I will continue to pray in faith for this, fully trusting the Holy Spirit to accomplish it. I do trust God to continue in using me for this ministry.

@VGaffney we stand with you in praying for your friend’s knee. Whatever happens, do not grow weary in doing good.

I believe I am able to heal the sick as the Word says and have experienced and seen people healed after praying for them. I also recognize that I experience an uncertainty also when people I have prayed for have not been healed. I have questioned where my faith stands in those circumstances and have wondered whether God wanted them healed. When I look at the boldness the disciples and apostles had I wonder about the strength or weakness of my faith for seeing people healed. I am encouraged by what I have learned in this lesson. It is God’s wish, His desire to see people healed and I need to trust Him to heal and for me to be obedient and trust Him for the healing.
