  • Lesson 11 – Your Healing Ministry

Posted by ECO on October 26, 2021 at 4:10 pm

Is your theology of healing based on things Jesus did not say? Is your healing belief structure Biblical? Do you believe you are able to heal the sick? When you read the New Testament and the miracles it describes, do you consider yourself willing or able to follow the example set by the disciples and apostles? What would it take for you to be convinced of your place in this ministry?

Reflect on these questions and answer in the discussion.

I like to think that my belief system around healing is Biblical, yes. I know that healing comes from God, I know that Jesus paid for it, and I know that we may be given the gift to help heal those around us if the Lord sees fit. I also know that healing may not come if that is not in His plan for whoever it is that is ill, and that I think it actually my strongest suit in regards to healing – I am a good counsellor. That being said, I don't think my own belief in myself as a healer necessarily aligns with my belief in healing in general. Rationally I know that He could choose to use me to heal those around me, at the very least to petition to Him on their behalf. But I do still struggle to believe that I would be "important" enough to actually be chosen to exercise the gift of healing. I am willing to do so, but I lack belief enough to be able at this point I think. I think for me to truly feel like I have a place in healing ministry, I would have to be given a very clear instruction from God. I am not bold enough yet to make that move of my own volition.

My theology of healing is based on the word of God. And I believe through faith and Gods promises that God will use me to heal the sick. This is his promise. He's name is Healer.

I have the experience during my ministry in the Philippines , there is a lady that really sick and bed ridden. When we prayed and ask demons to leave on her, after we prayed, she ask water and food.

My son who had an accident, he is miraculously healed in the Name of Jesus.

My theology of healing is actually structured on Jesus’ teaching and saying, not on things Jesus did not say.

Sure, my healing belief structure is Biblical of course.

After this course, coupled with faith, trust, prayer, the Holy Spirit and Holiness, i believe God will use me in the healing ministry. The key is to start, trust God, and never give up.

I believe with Jesus all things are possible for those that believe, even greater things will be done by us in Jesus name, amen.

I’m convinced that trusting God, and, faith, will keep me in a good place in this ministry.

My healing belief structure is Biblical. I believe that I am able to heal the sick. When I read the New Testament I do believe that I am able to do what the disciples and apostles did. But for me, I think a lack of faith and my own doubts is what hinders my ability to do so. I think I need to be more obedient to God and practice healing with my own brothers and sisters in Christ to gain confidence for healing unbelievers.
