In paragraph format, respond to one of the following prompts:

    1. What boundaries will you set in place or have you set in place to guide your journaling time?
    2. Can you give yourself permission to 'go with the flow of the Holy Spirit and test and approve' the content later? Why or why not?
    3. What impact does testing the content after the flow of impressions ends have on your prayer reading and devotional journaling?

I always have loved to journal – for me looking back on my journals and how God has been faithful, encouraged, guided and showed me things that a good father would – truth in love. Yes it definitely is something I have aligned with the word of God and if it does not or does not edify and build up then it gets taken out – or just crossed out . One of the things I also am blessed with is a church family who has many elders/ people who have the word engrained on their heart and I can ask for ‘more’ if I God has only given me one word.. I love those adventures as I learn and grow in his word.
