Respond to the following questions as you reflect on this topic.

    1. Have you ever been confused by one of Jesus's parables in Luke?
    2. Revisit that parable and think about it in context and about its message of God's kingdom. Do you hear what Jesus is saying better? How does that challenge you?
    3. As the Spirit is at work in Luke, everybody breaks out in prayer and worship. Is there a scene in Luke that brings you to your knees? How does this encourage you in your life as a Spirit-filled disciple?

    1. Have you ever been confused by one of Jesus's parables in Luke? ( Luke 8:10) that the reason He speaks in parables is so that the people will "see but not see, hear but not hear."
    2. Revisit that parable and think about it in context and about its message of God's kingdom. Do you hear what Jesus is saying better? How does that challenge you? ( The Bible is a tool to lead us into a relationship with God and the parables are a tool to lead us into a relationship with Jesus.)
    3. As the Spirit is at work in Luke, everybody breaks out in prayer and worship. Is there a scene in Luke that brings you to your knees? How does this encourage you in your life as a Spirit-filled disciple? (When Jesus implies that the Lord is willing to speak to Gentiles—those outside of God’s chosen people—the Nazarenes react with violent anger)
