Natural faith operates in my day to day activities as I have been a housewife, mother and teacher with chores, cooking, driving and teaching (and our Lord has been ever present. And, The Faith has been helpful as I was brought up in a Christian Church since I was six years old (except for the two years as an agnostic in university where I did not attend). Saving faith came upon receiving Christ in my heart by faith, accompanied by reading the word and activating it in my life, and the evidence of a true conversion with repentance, as well as the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
The Gift of Faith does operate most when I am in a small group of believers, or one on one with a sister, or brother in Christ. Here, I have had a bold confidence in what has been prayed for, or an inward witness that Christ is at work to accomplish his promise(s). I appreciate these present teachings in learning more about living in the Spirit.

I didn’t know that there were four types of faith , and after this lesson I now recognize the difference of the four kinds of faith. I have had the opportunity to operate in the gifts of healing on occasion. As a pre-teen I experienced the Gift of Faith, although was totally unaware that was what it was, at the time. My parents had been in an accident and my father was not expected to live because of his injuries. My sister was told that he would not survive the ambulance trip to another city. I prayed earnestly that night. My father and mother survived and lived another 40 years. God’s answered prayer and the gift of faith He gave me that night has held me, and drawn me closer to Him. My faith has grown stronger as I have learned to call on Him and in times of trouble to stand in obedience.
