  • Lesson 9 – Gift of Faith

Peter describes four kinds of faith (natural faith, the faith, saving faith, and the gift of faith). Do you recognize the difference between these? How have you operated in them in your own walk with Jesus? How has faith drawn you closer to God or empowered you to live in power and obedience?

Reflect on these questions and answer in the discussion.

I do recognize the difference between them, but I am struggling to dissect what my own faith looks like in this regard. I feel like I operate a bit through each of them, but I also feel like I could certainly grow in my faith as well. I have faith, but I also have fear, and I tend to lean into fear far too much.

I really didn’t know there were four types of faith, after this lesson i now recognise the difference in the four kinds of faith.

I have operated in them, without actually knowing the difference, in my walk with Jesus.

This has really helped me get closer to God. I would love to operate in the gift of Healing, to heal the sick, in every area, both physically and spiritually, everywhere i go, to the glory of God, in Jesus name, amen.

I do recognize the difference between different faiths. I have operated in them with my walk with Jesus. One time I had the faith to help heal the pain in my friends chest and his pain mostly went away. That really helped me come closer to God and I would love to operate in that faith everyday of my life. I want to be more obedient to the Lord and have the faith to heal the sick everywhere I go.
