I received a prophecy assuring me I was in God's will at the time and it was confirmed in my spirit. And that I was a victory queen. This blessed assurance helped me to know it was indeed God at work in me, and I would come through the challenge(s) well.

@VGaffney what a neat prophecy, the concept of being a “Victory Queen” is such a neat expression, and combines the Christian emphasis on royalty with our victory in Christ. So wonderful.

Yes I have received a prophetic words from God – my favorite way is when someone is brave enough when God gives them something for me and they tell me what he has said. It humbles me that he cares that much to bring me what I needed to hear. God is so good .

@KarryMac I agree. It is true that prophecy is humbling. It is such a gentle but strong reminder of how much God cares for us.

I have received a prophetic word that was given to me by a Pastor at a conference at the church I attend. It was a very short word regarding God had given me many ideas and was giving me more. This resonated with my spirit. Prior to the prophecy I had been able to provide solutions to problems at work and home which I had no previous experience with. I recognize that the ideas for the solutions were not something that I had conceived of my own,but that it had to be by the Holy Spirit. The Lord continues to give me ideas to benefit others and, I Praise God for that.

@Connie your comment reminds me that true prophecy has to do with something we couldn’t come up with on our own. Much of the time when Christians use the word “prophecy” they actually mean encouragement. I sometimes say, “Prophecy” is a neighbour to “Encouragement.”
