Being a foundational concept must mean that there needs to be a time when the Holy Spirit impacts members of the ACOP. Seeing this in our lives today is fruitful and a necessity for believers if they genuinely believe in the power and promise that God has given us. From spending time each day with the Holy Spirit on our own to going deeper with many others, when you take the time to go after Him, He will respond in ways that only can come from Him.

There is a necessity and desire to witness outpouring and moves of the Spirit day to day, both in the individual but also in the collective. Understanding this foundational piece of ACOP should be reflected and demonstrated in a heart-understanding that this is part of being a disciple of Christ, a child of God, that He will pour His Spirit on us in the same way, if not in even greater ways, than in Acts 2 and it belongs in our ministry.

That we can have the same encounters today. God is the same God today, yesterday, & forever. So it’s amazing to know, that just as the Holy Spirit was poured out at the feast of Pentecost we can receive that same outpouring today and always by seeking and accepting Jesus.

Foundational for me, means that, when not gotten right then there will be a problem with the rest of the structure.
