To truly align with ACOP (and the Word for that matter), we would need to believe that it happened, and receive this for ourselves

It means that we too can experience the power of being filled with the Holy Spirit. We must be intentional to welcome Holy Spirit into our hearts, and into our everyday interactions.

By being baptized in the Holy Spirit myself, accessing the gifts of the Spirit, and praying for others to receive the Holy Spirit as well.

It's vital that we experience this – that the infilling of the Holy Spirit – as it was poured out in the upper room – becomes part of our daily lives. As in Romans 8:26 "we do not know what we ought to pray for – but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us…". I find it is easier to pray/intercede in tongues when we do not know how to put into 'words' how to pray.
