Leadership development is definitely the most vital of the strategic initiatives listed because none of the other initiatives can be done without the presence of leadership that is at least mediocre. leadership has most likely pervaded almost signal initiative that have ever existed and done well, otherwise initiatives are lost in high water. However, what I think we need in leadership development and an effective initiative is specialized leadership training for every other strategic initiative ACOP has put in place. Every initiative needs a leader in tune with the heart and soul of the initiative, and that cannot be done with a cookie cutter leadership training format. every strategy is different and purposeful, and that’s what makes them effective. Leaders need to know the strategy inside and out.

I would maybe argue that church revitilization could be the most important. In an age where culture has cast church aside and often has a truly negative view of Christianity, the church needs to adapt. This doesn’t mean we need to up church production value or become flashier, but we need to become relevant to culture so that we can reach the people of our modern age.

I think all are so important, but I would say leadership development would be the most important, and engaging the next generation would be a very close second. This is because the quality of leadership is so important in building healthy churches that transform communities. I believe the leadership can make or break the goals of the churches ministry. And engaging the next generation is also so important as it will keep the flame going as the years pass.
