I’m not exactly sure where I fit in ACOP’s future goal planning, but I’m exciting to be involved however He leads. My situation is slightly unique, and I’m open to however it ends up looking, but I’m interested in developing leaders, disciple making, raising up the next generation, and helping with community transformation. I don’t believe I’m called to pastor, or to leave the country as a global worker, but there is much to be done here and I’m excited to partner with ACOP.

@Jenn the question may be written a bit too tightly. I think the way you influence leaders and families is part of the 1st and 5th initiatives ACOP list as their 5 Strategic Initiatives:

      1. We are committed to the development and deployment of leaders.

      5. We are committed to raising up a new generation of leaders in ACOP.

The ministry you do directly contributes to these strategic initatives. So be encouraged today that you are a valuable and helpful partner for ACOP!

I am currently in the process of becoming a Global Worker for ACOP so I would say I fit into the initiative of Global expansion and church multiplication. I want to make disciples who will make disciples and build up churches across the nations. I also feel a stir in my heart for raising up this generation of those who are being called and are being sent and just encouraging them and shepherding them into it. Too many young adults fall through the cracks in the seasons of uncertainty and calling and I want to help keep them on the path God is leading them to.

considering ACOP’s “God-sized faith goal” of 200 partner churches in Canada and 2500 globally by 2030, I can see myself fitting quite easily into this plan. Although I currently do not possess a desire to do long-term missions to work globally within ACOP, I do feel the urgent need in our own country even to make disciples. as part of a new generation of young Christian leaders in our country, I can do my part to share the Gospel with those who are even younger than me, creating more leaders to go out into our own country and around the world. In my own personal ministry, I think I can say my own “God-sized goal” is to see communities changed and on fire for Jesus. I want the character of Jesus to pervade everyday life and for people who have been hurt by the church to tangibly see the testimony of believers actively pouring out of their lives. I want to see the hardened hearts of Canada wooed back to the amazing and awesome love of Jesus, that they just can’t resist falling in love with him.
