Personally I think the Regional Director most benefits me with coaching, mentoring (or coordinating), providing resources and representing the heart of the president.

ALL of the above! For ministry/mission/missionaries and ministers to function well and succeed, all of the things mentioned above are vital, especially for the start-ups. Mission/Ministry could go sideways when neglected in any aspect (as the enemy doesn’t want any mission/ministry to succeed in anyway, shape or form).

Of all the roles a Regional Director has to take on, the most vital role the have to my own personal ministry would be mentoring. Too many people in the younger generation in Canada are without a mentor or don’t know how to mentor others. if a mentor can teach members of the younger generation what mentoring may look like, it would tell them how they could mentor others well. Too many younger people are without any definitive and consistent mentorship (myself included) and they need to know how to mentor the next generation. it would mean everything to me in my ministry to have someone come along side me and teach me how I can grow and learn in the areas that God has planted me in.
