Posted by ECO on August 9, 2021 at 10:12 amAfter trying the Discover, Share, Obey approach a few times, what questions do you have, or what observations do you have about what works well with this approach?

One thing to really appreciate about the Discover, Share, Obey approach is the way it naturally integrates Bible reading with attentive prayer. Sitting with a passage and seeing what resonates with us, and then asking the Lord to show us who we can share this with, and how we can live it out faithfully is simple but also very personal. It’s a great reminder of how to foster a daily growing relationship with God through Word and Spirit. – N

I also really like that as soon as you finish reading, you turn straight to the Holy Spirit for insight into the Word; it really helps against just reading the Bible to check it off the To Do list!
I will definitely be integrating this approach into our devotion times with our youth group!

@JWasmuth wonderful. We love to see that people are finding tools they can share with others. That’s half the point of this method of bible study.
