Read and respond to the following reflection questions:
- In Canada, we are blessed with tremendous religious freedom and we often take it for granted. Do you know any stories from our brothers and sisters around the world who have faced or are facing severe persecution for following Jesus? What has been the impact of their shining witness? How would the message of 1 Peter encourage them?
- Peter urges us to live our lives in light of the end. He tells us that Jesus’s return really changes how we live now. In your own life (individual or corporate), what are some concrete ways that your hope of Jesus’s return impacts how you live now?

How would the message of 1 Peter encourage them? (Except for some Islamic countries, all countries have religious freedom.)
- Peter urges us to live our lives in light of the end. He tells us that Jesus’s return really changes how we live now. In your own life (individual or corporate), what are some concrete ways that your hope of Jesus’s return impacts how you live now? ( I do not know)
